About Me

Pushing 30 (Gosh! That makes me feel oooold!) made me reflect on what I had achieved and the niggling, buried dream that I yet to realise. That was the birth of Future Pilot Niner One.

Future Pilot Niner One

As a young boy, I always loved getting on airplanes and dreamt of being the one to push the thrust levers forward in a jet, to perform a static take-off. I practised saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain…”, whilst day dreaming of sitting on the left seat.

As I grew up, I learned that becoming a pilot is expensive. My dream felt so far out of reach, so I buried it. Throughout my late teen, I focused on teaching street dance, performing at some of London’s best dance venues, as well as touring the UK twice, as a contemporary dancer.

At the same time, I developed a passion for coaching children, as I worked with children in care to develop their social skills.
